Lauren Howell
CEO
is a designing machine that is geared up and ready to answer your design challenge! She likes to bring out the fun in any type of project and really enjoys making her clients look awesome! Lauren loves working with the Adobe Creative Suite on her fancy iMac to develop interesting ideas and bring concepts to reality. She designs from the human perspective, always considering the end-user when developing any project. She also contributes to the future of the design community by teaching web design classes. When she’s not being a design nerd, she likes to hang out with friends, watch movies, and paint.
Sam Johnson
COO
is a die hard code monkey. Sam spent most of his professional life locked up in a cubicle solving problems that cannot be expressed with words that normal people use. Ever interested in the next big thing, Sam has been involved with Java, .NET, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and tons of other lesser known technologies. When his wife isn’t beating him at video games, he likes to see movies, socialize, and argue about Linux vs. Windows. When asked about the labor distribution in Howl Design he usually replies, “You know the really beautiful looking stuff that makes you think ‘Wow this site looks great I gotta get me some of that’? That’s all Lauren. The part where it doesn’t break, that’s all me.”
Hannah Lipking
Account Manager
loves art, design, life, and most of all her husband Jacob, but hates swiss cheese. A master of Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator, she still manages to have time to be wonderful to work with. Hannah is very conscientious about client needs and is willing to work hard to ensure that all goals are met. She is very capable at designing sites from scratch as well as modifying existing, out of the box technologies to make them feel like your technologies. A devoted mother, Hannah spends as much quality time as possible with her 8 pound 2 year old miniature pinscher Burton, and cats Azi and Walker.
Tatyana Johnson
CFO
performs perhaps the most difficult job of all: wrangling all our crazy ideas into a financially feasible masterpiece. A natural whiz with numbers and accounting, Tatyana keeps Howl Design healthy and rolling. She enjoys long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, romantic movies, and balancing books. When she isn’t beating her husband at video games, she’s paying attention to her two doggies, Charlie and Kilala.
