"If By Whiskey," the new novel by Quentin Whitwell, is about a young woman named Anna Neimus, an aspiring college journalist at Ole' Miss. The book follows Anna through her adventures as she rallies to change the school's official mascot from "Col. Reb" to "Xena." The book is a lighthearted look at the changing times and the "New South." The cover artwork had to convey the same sense of lightheartedness. We accomplished this by featuring quirky-looking characters in a loose illustration style.
