This CD design was part of a project proposed to the Governor of Mississippi. The Mississippi Blues Trail Album would feature 18 infamous blues tracks. The album design focuses on the historical and geographic significance of the Blues Trail itself, using photographs of real Blues Trail markers and buildings. The image of the blues musician in the brick conveys the idea that this blues talent was born of real-life sorrow and hardship.
